Super Llama: Llamas are awesome! (23)
Got back from the far north in the spring and just spent some time recuperating. Started quite a few pictures then got sent out for a "2-3 week" job. It shot my summer all to hell, and I'm still working on it. Got some time off while more equipment is being ordered, so I'm trying to quickly finish off started work. We'll see how it goes.

The real world beckons, so I must put down my pens, climb aboard the big silver bird and return to the engineering world for a while. I will be gone for the rest of the year and will have little time for anything but work. I would like to thank one and all in advance for any faves and/or watches. I will not have an opportunity to thank you individually. I hope to find occasions when I can catch up on what you are all producing, but the opportunities will be few and far between. When the job is finished, and the coffers are replenished, I hope to have time off to catch up on ideas I am toying with. This has been a productive interlude, but I

Things sometimes happen quickly in my life. After some mutual admiration of each others work, ~magentafreak ~magentafreak (https://www.deviantart.com/magentafreak) and I decided to do some collaborative work: ~OpticalAssault :iconopticalassault: is where you will find our work. I think it surprised us both how fast it happened. It's my B&W, with her colour interpretations. So far, it is all variations on my Transcendental Variations 1-2. They keep coming and coming and coming ...

Keep going you have the right idea as I did this 40 years ago as few stay with it. I always loved OP art but I wanted to push the limits and I feel I have. My serious work was branding for government and offset publishing for public safety over many year's. Yet I sold 10 of these in my first show all I had, within 15 minutes. So I went back to the drawing board which was super fun then as it is now as well, retired. I wish you all the best.

:aww: Thanks very much for the fave on Organize This!
i love classic op art like this, especially when technically this well done. it inspires my 3d abstract work. what mediums do you work in? i use blender 3d.
Thank you so much. I use India Ink on Bristol with Koh-i-noor Rapidograph pens. Designs created with ruler, straightedge, compass and handmade sine wave rulers.
your very welcome, and i'm amazed by how accurate these look considering your doing them by hand.
